Trade ATS Review (Black Box Trading Software)

Trade ATS is a Forex indicator developer and course provider that refers to themselves as a black box trading software developer. This means that they provide a trading program with a set number of rules but that they hide all aspects of the methodology. They currently have two products on the market, and we will be analyzing both to let you know if this is a viable trading opportunity.

First launched in 2018, this service is run by “a trading software development firm specializing in the Forex markets.” They believe in understanding market sentiment, and using this data with their flagship Action Threshold Software. They do not provide an address for their headquarters, or offer up any introductions to the team. So, we cannot verify if they are long-term traders, or not.

Trade ATS Review

The Trade ATS team currently provide two products, their Trade ATS subscription and a course that helps traders “Learn Metatrader 4 Fast.” The course is actually 100% free, so it’s a good idea to test this out first to see if their teaching style meshes with your current approach.

The main service they provide is their Action Threshold Software, which is an MT4 indicator. The developers claim that this indicator uses cutting edge methodology, can be learned easily, works in all markets and timeframes.

Whether or not it qualifies for best Forex indicator status, will depend on their presentation of the strategy and trading results. These are always the two pinnacles of every review that we do, as it’s important the vendor proves a system works, before we sign up.

Strategy

Given that the Trade ATS software is a black box, there likely won’t be much detail provided about its strategy. That being said, they do promise to provide traders with a full online course that teaches traders the basic methodology. It would be helpful if they provided us some of this information as well, so we could verify the viability of the approach, but they do not.

All they really tell us about the strategy is that they focus on “understanding true mass market sentiment.” The purpose of the indicator is to help traders understand the direction that the majority of traders are trading at a specific time. They feel that access to this data will help their clients to “consistently predict market movements and capitalize on trading opportunities not clearly seen or understood by the masses.”

We still would like to see portions of the course so that we can get a better understanding of their strategy. We make this same request of all other Forex inidcators, as you can see in our recent reviews of Trader Pulse, Breakfree Trading and Forex Pharaoh Academy.

For traders interested in the Trade ATS software, membership goes for $150 per month. Most Forex indicators go for around $100 for lifetime access,and this is significantly higher than that. It’s apparent that they are charging more for the added value that comes with their live webinar coaching sessions, and their online courses.

The vendor should be giving us trial access or a sample coaching session to at least see what it’s all about before dumping $150.

Trading Results

There are no Trade ATS trading results provided at this time. This is always the most important aspect of our reviews, as we feel it’s necessary that the vendor proves their product is viable.

If they want to charge $150 per month, they should be able to prove that their techniques are successful in a live or demo account. Uploading their results to Myfxbook takes less than 5 minutes, so there is no reason why they shouldn’t do this.

Until we see some trading results, we won’t be able to make a recommendation.

Conclusion

For the most part, we like what we see from the Trade ATS team. The presentation is professional, and their add value services sound helpful. Yet, we don’t know much about their strategy, and their is no proof that the product works.

Ideally, we would like to see the vendor use the Forex indicator, and then show us their trading results to verify its worth. Hopefully they read our review, and make these adjustments.
