The Trade Copier is software that takes signals from the VIP member’s area and copies them to the member’s trading platform.
VIP members install two pieces of software on their Meta Trader 4 platform. First, they install a Telegram connector, currently named TelegramToMT4. Second, they install the Forex Robot Nation Copier v1_00 in the appropriate folder. Complete installation instructions are included with the software download.
Yes. Everything needs to be open!
MT4, The TelegramToMT4 & Telegram itself need to be open in order to receive trades. All of these programs can be minimized, and they will still work.
You need to be a VIP member in order to receive trades.
If trading GOLD in the GOLD room, you will want to set your PIP TOLERANCE to 20.
Just double click on the account file in the same folder as the Telegram_Connector.
You can enter the correct phone number, like if you forgot to put a +1 or something.
There is no reason to turn off a computer in 2022. They are built to be left on.
But, if you want a separate server for your copy trader, or your robots, you can pay monthly for a VPS.

A VPS is just a computer on a high speed network. You can connect to your VPS from your phone or your computer at anytime to change settings, monitor results etc. The server stays on 24/7.
Installing files to a VPS is very easy, you simply login to your VPS, then you will see a desktop just like your own. You will be able to open the web browser on the VPS, go to websites, download robots, copy traders and install them normally.
When getting a VPS, you just need to make sure it’s Windows. Start on one of the lower plans, you can always upgrade later if you want to add more robots / copy traders on your server.
It is important to see a blinking cursor inside of TelegramToMT4, if you do not see this blinking cursor, it means that TelegramToMT4 is PAUSED. Simply, click your mouse inside of the TelegramToMT4 window and you should see blinking again.
This is no longer the case always (we have reports that it can work without a blinking cursor)
One VIP member said the program was crashing because he forgot to add +1 for the country code.
After he did this, it stopped crashing.
If you want the copier to open a trade exclusively for TP1 or TP2, simply put -1 in the Lots TP1 or Lots TP2 above.
In the image below, since -1 is in the Lots TP2 section, the copier would only open a single trade for TP1 at 2%. It would not open a trade for TP2, because -1 is in the Lots TP2 section.
Using TP1 only, is a low risk way of using the VIP copier.
Your chart should look like this, with a happy face.
You need to allow autotrading / live trading.
Go to Tools > Options
Then click Expert Advisors tab and Allow Automated Trading
Or Right click on your chart, go to expert advisors > properties
Then go to the common tab and tick Allow live trading
This will resolve the sad face issue.
You only need to install the Forex Robot Nation Copier on 1 chart.
You DO NOT need to install it on every chart.
In these cases you need to add a suffix. This is shown in the video above.
So next to suffix you would enter .HKT or i

If you can’t enter your password into the telegram connector.
Just simply type and press enter.
The password is just hidden for privacy purposes.
If you struggle with doing it this way then put your password in a notepad, then copy it (Ctrl + C), and paste it (CTRL + V) into the connector that way.
I actually had to do this myself, and it works.

The Trade Copier is ideal for those traders who are trading multiple signals a day. It does not make sense for inactive traders.
You are. You have always been responsible for losses, poor risk management and any other risky behavior in the market.
No. Many of our members use these signals to grow their accounts. Some, quite successfully. Even with the fantastic results our members see in the VIP group, it will not make you rich. Trading is a disciplined skill and only the most elite traders are able to become unreasonably wealthy by trading. However, if you want to grow your account and “earn while you learn” then VIP membership and the Trade Copier could be ideal for you.
Currently, we report results based on the best conditions of a single position.
If a trade hits SL it is triggered at -1%.
If a trade hits TP1 it is reported at +1%.
If a trade hits TP2 only TP2 is reported, so 2-3%, whatever the TP2 is.
So, if a trade hits TP2 and the TP2 is 3%, we don’t claim the trade won +4%, the same way we don’t claim -2% if we hit a SL.
I do believe this is the best way of reporting because it is in line with how the majority of our clients use our signals.
1) Check blinking white cursor on script
2) Check if that specific message was parsed corrrectly and visible into the script window
3) Check on MT4/MT5 if that signal was handled correctly
Solve problems
1) you have accidentally paused the script
2) internet connection problems or copier possible problem due to bad message format
3) if signal not arrived to metatrader, copier is very probably not installed correctly
If all 3 steps are ok, no reasons for not seeing trades opened rather than broker related or misconfiguration problems (like opening 100 lots with $100, set acceptable lot sizes / risk %)

Hi, the automated trade copier is working fine but 1 problem. It is not able to receive manually closed trades. when it receives message to delete trade, i get this error code in metatrader journal – failed cancel order #0 buy 0 at market [invalid request].
The telegram bot kept saying “PersistentTimestampOutdatedError”
Maybe a Windows update is necessary.

For the last trade that was sent out (AUDCHF) Sell, my MT4 received the order but I see in the “Journal” tab
“sl: 0.62350 tp: 0.61900 failed [Invalid S/L or T/P]”

I have recently joined and like what I see. I have a question regarding the Robot is it any good for trading a prop firm to qualify for an account with 1:50 leverage and a stop loss of $800. I would use a TP 1 only with a 1.0% risk and no trailing except manually.
We only give 1 TP per trade.
As it seems that my comment was not published, just another retry regarding an observation:
On 03/03 you posted results from 01/03 – 03/3 showing +1.01%
On 25/02 you posted results from 20/02 – 24/02 showing +2.23%
This leaves out 2 loosing trades on 27/02, that resulted in a total loss of -1.63%.
In you overall month summary, it is included, but it would show more transparency if the weekly results would be shown also correctly…
Overall I appreciate your effort in showing and explaning trades and respect the overall transparency, just wanted to make a remark

Hi Pat,
i noticed that you are leaving out some trades in your VIP results postings. Just recently, you posted trading results from 01/03 – 03/03 (with a profit of 1.01%). The last result posting was from 20/02 – 24/02.
Problem is, you left out two loosing trades from 27/02 (USDCHF -1.00 % and GBPUSD -0.63%) and therefore your trading results are kind of misleading.
I do not know (and most certainly not hope so) if this was intentional, but it would be more transparent, if you post ALL results, including those that might lead to a negatice week overall…

We have MT4 & MT5 version. I use the MT4 version. All brokers have MT4 & MT5 platforms, so you can easily download an MT4 just to run the copy trader as well.

Thank you to you and your team for the wonderful signals! I realized that since you changed your signal structure in early January 2023, there has been an increase in manual stop loss. However, the TelegramToMT4 application does not copy these manual stop loss to the trading platform. As your signals are mostly active during the London trading session and as somebody who lives on the west coast, majority of the signals are given between 12AM – 6AM PST. As such, whenver there’s a manual stop loss update during the night, I’m unable to manually put that in. I’ve missed out on a couple of really profitable trades as a result of this. I’m sure i’m not the only one experiencing this.
That said, are there any plans to update the TelegramToMT4 and/or trade copier so it copies the manual stop loss as well? Is it technically feasible to implement such a feature? Thank you and keep up the good work!
HI Matthias, manual exits are being triggered in all my accounts and all my employee accounts as well. Try switching to MT4 if you’re using MT5.

Hey, I have moved my set up from my work laptop to my home pc and the telegram connector is not receiving messages on the pc (says it is connected). Checking whether there is anything I should have done to delete it on my work laptop first.
Just to share what I’ve learned…. If you are looking for vps, I would strongly recommend AWS lightsail. I was having problems with the telegram message connector with most other VPS hosts out there. From what I learned, AWS does not block dlls which is an issue if these are blocked. Normally I would avoid this but I trust Amazon enough on this. I am a developer and it makes enough sense to me that this would be the issue most host did not work for me. There lowest server costs $8 a month but i went for the $12 option which doubles the ram. Helps to avoid frustration because the interface will lag. However, have not experienced any lag with the execution of the copier etc.
Bottom line: AWS Lightsail for $8/12 works. I am using mt5 (they also have a 3 month free trial)

I am trying this on a Demo account with VPS.
Both yesterdays and todays trade on EURUSD wasnt executed due to “Not enough money”.
However the USDJPY trade was executed successfully.
It is as stated just a demo account but it has like 6000€ in it – so was wondering what could trigger that error message.
So far the way I’ve set up the copy trader and MT4 seems correct. Just waiting for next trade to be set. If a trade is triggered and let’s say you move the stop to breakeven, would it automatically change my stop to b/e as well? Or would I have to manually adjust it?

Unfortunately my telegram connector did not receive the last trades today. It’s blinking and it says “connected to telegram” The copier has a smiley face next to it too. Anything I’m missing?

Yes, I believe some traders using VPS have had an issue, I just run it on my home computers, normal windows.
Is there a feature in the ea that I don’t know about or have overlooked. When you close an ongoing trade manually, it does not close on my account. Unfortunately, this has resulted in several lost trades

Hello, just an observation / FYI on automated copy trading… the buy limit order on EUR/USD yesterday (2/8) which was reported as cancelled shortly after it was set up – this trade triggered in my account and stopped out as a loss. Not sure if it was a messaging failure in the automation or just a timing issue. My account has been running seamlessly on automation since I set it up. Something maybe worth looking at.
I believe it may have been cancelled incorrectly on our end, I plan on discussing with devs shortly.

For the, the signals do get through to MT4 and trades do get placed but sometimes the lot size calculation is way off. I set the risk to 1 just and TP1 only, just like the suggested beginner configurations. However, sometimes the lot size is either too small, leading to tiny win/loss. And the wrong lot size today 06/02/2023) for EURUSD is so scary, it worked out he lot size of 9.40 and I got an error in my Journal tab saying “Not enough money”. If this were a lost trade and had the lot were worked out to be within my balance, I could lose a significant amount. Any suggestion in term of configuration would help please? I set it all to your recommended beginner configs, and set the correct prefix to match my broker symbol.

Doesn’t always blink on all platforms, can work without blinking. Sometimes when it’s not copying you just need to click inside the copier screen one time to unpause it.
COPYTRADE PROBLEM
Like many other in the comments i’m having the same problem with the copytrader, the signals arrive to “Telegram To MT4” but they are never actually executed
This is my personal analysis of the situation (I have already informed Pat via email of all of this and as always he has been helpful)
I used both MT4 and MT5 on my home computer and on my VPS, woth two terminal for each station, the copytrader work badly on all platforms unfortunately, it only opens stop position (and not even all), it can’t open markets position, the spread in all these attempts was close to zero
In my opinio the possible problem are in the telegram delay, or in a problem with the “market orders” in the code, if someone has already found the solution to the problem can write it below
This is exactly what I’ve been noticing. It’s all the Market Orders that aren’t getting sent to my MT4. Limit Orders are working, I believe, for the most part.
I haven’t looked too much into the “one-click trading” part of MT4 but there could be a setting in there that is preventing Market Orders getting triggered.
Can I use this on two different brokers at the same time?

I have everything set up I believe as it should be, but I’m still not able to get it working. The signals are showing in the Telegram prompt, but not transferring over to the MT4 copier.
– I turned auto trading on and verified the smiley face is there
– My broker has the “.i” suffix so I ensured to place that into the copier (I tried without the suffix as well but to no avail)

Yeah this is where I’m at currently. Everything set up, Telegram is receiving the trade data, but MT4 is doing nothing. Did you find a work around?
If Copier isn’t working for you, try the MT4 version, instead of the MT5 version.
This is another option as a potential fix.

The robot copier doesn’t seem to be working as a lot of people are having the same issues, I have followed the guide, smiley face on mT4, signal showing up on the telegram prompt but no trade being opened.
Does it make a difference if I’m testing on a demo?
I got the same problem as Lence, the two last trades of the week (Thursday and Friday) showed up in the telegram connector, but not in mt4, the EA shows the smiley face and the spread was 0. Any clue on what could be the issue?

I am having trouble with the trade copier. The trades are showing up on the command line terminal but not in MT4. I have the EA on a chart, Auto trading enabled. Nothing showing up in EA tab as far as trades being attempted to come in. A smile face is on for the EA. I’m stuck. Anything else I can check to see why this is happening?

After two weeks of trying various combinations of solutions involving Mac, Windows 10, Suffix, VPS, MT4, MT5 I finally got it to work. I think the issue was that the EA was not getting the telegram message. I am not entirely sure of this but here is what worked for me.
My setup:
OS: Mac (im pretty sure this will work for Windows 10 as well)
Platform: MT5 (I could not get this to work using MT4 using the same config)
Account: Hankotrade-Demo
General Instructions:
1. Download and install MT5 from Hankotrade site. Connect MT5 to your Hankotrade account.
2. Follow Pat’s instructions to install EA and TelegramToMT4. You do NOT have to rename anything to MT5!
– make sure you leave TelegramToMT4 running!
3. Download telegram app for Mac, login, and leave it running (not 100% sure it needs to be running)
4. In MT5, Click the “Algo Trading” button (enabling it)
5. In MT5, under the Navigator window, Under Accounts, right click your account and Login. It should turn Bold
6. In MT5, drag a symbol to the main window
7. Drag the EA copier to the chart
8. Make sure you add the suffix for your broker is added to the setting for the input (“.HKT” for me without quotes.
9. Click Ok. (MT5 Only!). Yes the window will close however it’s still attached to the chart.
At this point, you should see “Forex Robot Nation Copier vXXX MT5” AND a blue graduation cap icon in the upper right hand corner of the chart. Additionally, you under your account, you will see the EA under your account number on the left hand side Navigator.
In my case, I have this structure:
Accounts –> Hankotrade-Demo –> 8675309: Mateo –> Forex Robot Nation Coper v1_x
Leave telegram, TelegramToMT4, and MT5 running and it should start taking the next trade. Fingers crossed.

I am a bit worried about the scalping trades as the Stoploss and Entrys Pending Orders are so tight and the price quites can differ between brokers, so it is really Broker sensibel. What broker do you use with what spreads?
Lately there has been sent an eurusd buy limit order and while you notificated us that it was filled it wasnt on my side.. I use IcMarkets so I have really tight spreads but still it did not open at that time because of 0,4 pips. How to resolve this matter? And also what happends with the open pending orders on my side in such cases while your trade is open and lets say closed with TP? Will it cancel or stay open?

If you just joined, likely no signal has been sent yet. If you had a signal already and you didn’t get anything, see the suffix, see the rest of the FAQ.
