Hey guys, not doing a big writeup for this post, just want to let you know my latest video is now available. In this video I go over a new approach I’m using with Forex Fury V4, and walk you through my live trades for the past month.
My Live Forex Trades Video
I hope that you enjoy the video. I’m working on providing much more content like this in the future. I’ll add the full transcript to this post later, but I’m exhausted and I’d like to do some trading before I get off the computer.
As always, please subscribe, like and comment.
Hi Patrick, this is wonderful, its a wow. So you saying the robot opens and closes all those trades?
I am a newbie, just few months old and blown a few accounts. Can I link my account with yours or you just selling the robots as they are.
Hi Daniel, yes, the robot opens and closes all of the trades in the video. I sell the tool. I don’t have any copy trading or managed account service at this point in time.
Hi Patrick, thanks for the informative video and congratulations on your success with this account over the past month.
By the way, I’ve just purchased Fury, so if I can achieve anything remotely like this level of account growth I’ll be happy.
I note that you practically disabled the SL and that a few trades were running at a loss for a while before retracing. So I have two questions about this:
1) Roughly how big was the pip deficit on the worst 1 or 2 trades before they retraced? (I can’t make out the numbers on the chart.)
2) How many of those trades would have hit SL at 35-40 pips under default account settings?
Just to be clear, my questions are not meant in any kind of hostile “not so great now, are you?” kind of way – I’ve already purchased the EA so I’m convinced of its value. I just want to get some sense of the risks/rewards of the aggressive approach you’ve used here compared with the default risk settings. I know I can compare approaches myself by running demo accounts, but it would still be useful to get the approximate figures from your last month on this account. (And maybe some other readers/prospective purchasers would find it useful too.) Thanks.
Hi Andrew, the largest drawdown on the account is 7.92%, which means the worst drawdown was 31.2 pips. I am not offended by your questions at all, it’s good to be curious about the different ways to use the software. The entries Fury provides have always been fantastic, the key is trading ranging conditions only and small windows. In V4 we added the Frankfurt open as a desirable trading window, and I think this is another great opportunity to take advantage of ranging conditions for easy wins.
Thanks Patrick. From looking at the charts I thought it may have been rather more than 31 pips. So with hindsight, you could have used the default setting of a 35-40 pip SL and still achieved the same 100% win rate. Very impressive! I look forward to testing Fury for myself once I’ve finished getting set up.
Speaking of which: would you recommend that I start out with V4, or should I stick with V3 until V4 is completely finalized?
HI Andrew, I recommend V4 now. There haven’t been any reported issues or bugs.
