Indicator Review: Trend Pulse Pro

Trend Pulse Pro is a Forex indicator that provides buy and sell signals. It’s advertised as a system that will help traders open and and close “trades to make the biggest possible profit from almost all price movements.” The vendor feels that the odds are stacked against the average Forex trader, and that without a viable trading strategy, they have a 20-1 chance of making money. They developed the indicator, the flip these odds on their head, and give traders a better chance at winning trades.

The product is produced by Johan Nordstrom, the founder and CEO of Trading Walk. This development group is behind multiple projects including the FX Master Code, Fibonacci Cheat Sheet, and multiple ebooks. The Trading Walk website is streamlined, and comes across as quite professional, but this is the first we’ve ever heard of Nordstrom. He doesn’t have a long history in the Forex marketplace, but does believe that through trial and error that he’s been able to figure out the Forex markets.

There is no address provided for the Trading Walk headquarters. To get in touch with support, traders can fill out a contact form. There is no direct email address provided.

Trend Pulse Pro Review

According to the sales page, the Trend Pulse Pro is the perfect tool for traders with almost no experience at all. They provide how-to videos, and guides to ensure that their signals are being utilized properly. This all amounts to a message of ease and simplicity that is pushed forward throughout the marketing materials consistently. The only issue with presentations like these, is that they lack the specific details that more advanced traders like to see before making a purchase.

The vendor claims that the system utilizes next-generation code, smart trend technology and reliable no repaint signals. Yet, the actual methodology isn’t provided much detail. The vendor does discuss trend trading loosely, but doesn’t exactly map out the main approach of the indicator. The vendor should elaborate on this next generation code and smart trend technology, so we don’t know we are getting into.

The indicator is promised to work on all pairs and all time frames, which again takes away from any sort of specificity. Generally, systems like these, that attempt to be a catchall, require a fair amount of testing, and analysis in order to make profitable. This isn’t something that we are scared of, and we feel that many of the best Forex indicators to follow this approach, but the vendor advertise the system is one that is very simple to utilize.

More strategic input is necessary.

Indicator Analysis

  • Type: Forex Indicator
  • Price: $47
  • Strategy: Trend Based
  • Timeframe: All Timeframes
  • Pairs: All Pairs

The Trend Pulse Pro indicator is priced lower than we expected, at a one time fee of $47. This package comes with lifetime access, daily trading signals, an experienced coach, 24/7 priority support, how-to videos, free bonuses and a 60 day moneyback guarantee. The one aspect in the package we are most interested in, is the experienced coach. It’s hard to believe that at $47, that you will be able to get access to sufficient coaching. So, this is something we know the community can help us resolve by leaving a comment under the review.

Trading Results

As is generally the case with Forex indicators, the trading results are lackluster and rely on screenshots from the MT4 or MT5 platform. The issue with this type of trading result, is that the trades can easily be cherry picked by the vendor. On top of that, the trades don’t represent a true sample size, or show us what pairs and timeframes are likely to be successful, because the trades only span a few days.

Based on the results we are shown, the indicator looks impressive, but you really can’t put any stock into screenshots in 2019.

While it is more difficult to provide trading results for an indicator, than it is an automated Forex robot, we are unsure if this is a valid excuse anymore. The vendor is trying to sell us something, so at the very least they should be trading the indicator themselves to prove that works. We believe that every vendor, for every product should have some sort of long-term trading statements of provide whether that be on Myfxbook or any other statement sharing service.

That being said, this approach is the most common one in the indicator market, as you can see in our recent reviews of FX Magnetic, and Forex Millennium.

Conclusion

For the most part, we like what we see from the Trend Pulse Pro and the Trading Walk team. The website is well put together, and the group comes across as a professional service provider. Yet, as you know from reading the review, there are some issues that we don’t want to gloss over. The indicator isn’t explained in much detail, and the trading results aren’t verified or proven. Both of these aspects add up to the fact that the vendor needs work on proving the viability of the product, before we purchase it.
