EA Review: Pastor Pro Forex Robot

Today I’m taking a look at a new automated trading system built to exploit the Forex market and allow normal traders to pull in cash like real pros, Pastor Pro Forex Robot. The sales page advertises this system is a low risk opportunity and solution for all those manual traders that failed succeed without automation.

It is not clear who the creator of this system is, but based on the issues with grammar and spelling on the sales page, it’s likely they are not from an English background. There is also no address for the company, but traders can contact their support team via a contact form on the website.

Pastor Pro Feature Review

I’m not sure if the developers of this EA are comedians or they’ve forgotten to insert their business name. As, the first line of the Pastor Pro Forex Robot readers “we are (insert business name), a team of experts with professional knowledge of Forex market trends.” I’m not sure if they purchase the sales page, or they are making some sort of a joke in hiding who they are. Personally, I prefer to know who is behind a trading system to ensure that I’m not investing with a company or creator that has a bad reputation.

Now let’s take a look at some of the features, and most highly marketed elements of the trading robot.

Some of these features are going down the wrong path. I don’t like it when any Forex software claims to be risk-free, because these words indicate that the system can never lose. Considering Forex is a very difficult market predict, I don’t believe that any robot developer should use the words risk-free, as that’s just not probable no matter how much confidence the developers have.

The software also has 100% high trading accuracy, but I’m not sure what that means. Do you know what high trading accuracy means? If you do, please leave a comment below the article and inform me, because it sounds like gibberish.

The money-back guarantee isn’t as easy to receive as one might believe. If you go to the Pastor Pro Forex Robot terms and conditions page, you will see that traders are required to prove that they have used the software for 15 days on alive account and report a loss. During this period, you will also have to use all of the provided settings and have no downtime.

What they are essentially telling us, is that we have to go live with their robot in the first couple of days of signing up, or we won’t qualify for the return policy.

For me, this is very difficult, because I always demo test trading systems for a couple of months before I decide to unleash them on my live account. So, I would never be able to qualify for the money-back guarantee.

Pro Trading Result Analysis

There is currently one trading account provided by the Pastor Pro Forex Robot. This account is running on FX blue, and has been trading for 33 days. In this period of time, the software is showing a monthly return of 32% profit.

The system trades quite frequently, with hundred and 18 trades in this short 33 days. The average win is 18 pips, and the average loss is 50 pips, which makes for a risk reward ratio of approximately 1.8 to 5. This isn’t a terrible risk reward ratio, but one we see frequently in the use of scalpers. I do not believe this is a scalper though, because the average trade length in all trades is 24 hours and 67 minutes. In the case of winners, the trades are 50 hours shorter on average.

Wrapping Up

To finish the review, I’d like to say that there are 2 sides to the story. There are some issues with the wording of the website, but the FX blue trading account does show us some potential. Obviously, with the system just being a month old we will need to see more data before coming to a final conclusion. As of right now, I am not going to purchase the Pastor Pro Forex Robot, but I will continue to watch its development and see how it performs over the next 6 to 8 months. Hopefully during this period of exploration we also see live client accounts as well.
