I am quite interested by Volatility Factor, I am excited to get a copy to start testing. First of all, I like that they have an established history with past products. This is important to me because it goes to show their organization has history and success. The website itself is well done and there is no cheesy video or any sort of garbage screen shots that lead me to believe this is a scam.
Results
The current results for Volatility Factor are hosted on myxbook a reputable MT4 results host. These are the type of results that I prefer, I believe them, along with MT4live are the two most reputable when it comes to verifying results. This type of results does a pretty solid job at showing the strategy and depicting how exactly the Forex EA manages its trading style. I plan on providing my own results once I get my hands on a copy. This is my first impression on Volatility Factor on behalf of Forex Robot Nation but not an astute observation of the market for Forex products itself.

Ran this EA on a Demo account and a Real account. Never did get a trade on the Real account in a month. Just as well, because the Demo account is down 30%, and still going down! It would take several months of winning trades to make up for one trade that hit a SL…….don’t waste your money on this one!

As i am coder , i do have many EA like this . This is concept robot . This wont survive in this trending market. The concept is if the trade is again its favour, it will start to take several orders with buy or sell respectively , and will close its position when the market comes back.. The concept always fails in trending market.. this EA suits only in choppy market.. The concept wont trade with stoploss, instead of that , it will take 5 or 10 orders as per the settings and keep on going with floating loss, until the market comes to its favour…. If it doesnt comes back , it will blow out the account.. As a retail trader, trade with stoploss, that is fair for a trader…
If u want to make money in forex, follow the good strategy like fxpm and live the life as u desire…. As a programmer dont dump your money with illeterate robot.. At the end of the day , it will suck your blood , by blowing out your account…

quite strange. 3 months equity curve went up nicely, than they start selling the system, and immediately a terrible DD… Not a new experience for buyers of “high profitable” forex products…

If you look at Volatility Factor’s trades on myfxbook you can see there is no set SL or TP unless it’s built in. Regardless, the ea closes the trade manually and the average loss is only around 12 pips whereas average win is about 20 pips. With 80% wins it looks good to me! We’ll see…

This robot is gonna be a hit for 2012. Many ran behind MDP and failed… Since 2 days more than 100 pips, really rocks.. Lets see for the long run .. But still my ACTION robot plays well and makes 200 pips per day… prathaban08 at gmail
