Signals Review: MaxPipFX

MaxPipFX is a Forex signal service, and auto trade copier provider that’s new to the market, hoping to help traders reach their goals. The group put a large emphasis on transparency, and thus are one of the few signal services that offer up a live verified trading account with Myfxbook. This is a good first step, but we will have to analyze every aspect of their service before coming to our final determination.

There is no information provided about the company, location or team of analysts providing the signals. This information is missing, and should be provided, because no trader wants to receive signals from an unknown entity. Considering the emphasis they have put on transparency, it’s surprising to see that this information isn’t available.

The vendor also fails to provide any method to contact them. No email address, no contact form. These are major omissions.

MaxPipFX Review

The MaxPipFX website is professional looking, but quite basic. The majority of information is vague or lacking any real substance, which isn’t ideal for a Forex trading offer.

In an attempt to acquire email addresses, the service offers free EURUSD signals. If you are interested in purchasing this service, then we highly recommend that you test their free Forex signals first to see if they meet your needs.

Strategy

There is no real discussion about their trading strategy, or any of the methodologies they rely on to provide trades. They claim to be a “group of experienced professional traders specialized in providing accurate daily forex signals based on live trading data and experience.” This sounds good, but we are not introduced to any of the traders, and are equally in the dark when it comes to the trading data they utilize to monitor the markets.

They promise an accuracy rate of 70% for 5-10 signals per week. The signals are sent between 8 am and 6 pm EST. If you are not available during these times, then you need not apply for the service.

The strategy is lacking, and so are many other details which is line with our recent reviews of Eaconomy and ForexTrade1.

Signal Analysis

  • Type: Forex Signals
  • Price: $99-$139
  • Strategy: Undisclosed
  • Signal Frequency: 5-10 per week
  • Pairs: AUDUSD, EURCHF, EURGBP, EURJPY, EURUSD, GBPUSD, NZDUSD, USDCAD, USDCHF, USDJPY

There are two different options for traders interested in the MaxPipFX signals. They can choose between the sms and email notifications package, or the MT4/MT5 auto trade copier package. The sms and email package goes for $99 per month. The auto trade copier package goes for $139 per month. Both are priced quite high, but not out of reach for most traders.

Client Feedback

The client feedback for MaxPipFx is average at this point. They have a 2.9/5 star rating on FPA. Though, the last rating was in last 2018, so it’s been almost a year since the last review. This likely means that it’s not a very popular service. One of the main complaints made is about the customer service, claiming that they never respond to requests.

Trading Results

It’s certainly a plus that the MaxPipFX team provides a real Myfxbook account so that we can analyze all of their trades. Very few other companies in this market do this, so they get bonus points here.

The results though, are unspectacular, with a 39% gain, and 33% drawdown over the course of 2019. The win rate is where the vendors claim, around 70%, with 605 trades and an average trade length of over 9 hours.

The month to month performance is also quite erratic. There have been 5 winning months, and 3 losing months in 2019. Almost all of the profits came in March, where the account saw a 45% gain. Since this month though, the account is sitting around -20%. Which means, if you signed up after March, you would be down significantly.

That being said, we are happy that they decided to provide trading results, and we do commend them for doing so. Now, they just need to up their performance, and stabilize the account.

Conclusion

The MaxPipFX service comes across as a professional one, with live trading results, and a clean website. Yet, there is a real lack of substance. They don’t provide information about their trading strategy, their analysts, and forgot to put their email address on the website. The client feedback isn’t great, and it’s quite old showing that the service isn’t as popular as it once was.
