Robot Review: Stunning EA

Stunning EA is a collection of Forex expert advisors developed by a “professional trader crew.” This vendor claims to have years of experience in the Forex robot marketplace which makes them perfect at creating systems that can provide quality trading to the average consumer. They currently offer 5 different automated robots, which include EA Impact Scalp, EA PopCorn, EA Cloud, EA Dragon-X and EA Empire. In this review, we will go through each of these systems, and give you a general overview the service provider.

There is little to no information provided about the Stunning EA Group. They don’t tell us their location, or give us any real background, but we did find a link to their MQL5 profile, which gives us further information. All of the products look to be owned by “Melvin Tan,” a Forex developer located in Malaysia. It’s very possible that this service is run by a sole proprietor, because there is no indication that any other developers are part of this project. In order to get in touch with support, traders can email stunningea@gmail.com or via telegram.

Stunning EA Review

Our first impressions of the Stunning EA robot collection isn’t overly positive. The website is poorly put together, with a very unprofessional design, and spelling mistakes of their own company name. This, in conjunction with their real lack of information about everything, makes this come across as a bush league effort.

The vendor needs to make significant adjustments to their website, if they want to be taken seriously and considered as a contender for best Forex robot status.

Each of the expert advisors comes with a brief one sentence explanation, a few bullet points, recommended pairs, recommended brokers and virtual private servers. While there is very little information about each system, we will do our best to flush that information now.

EA Impact Scalp

The EA Impact Scalp software costs $200 per license, and uses a scalping strategy based on strength measurement and momentum. It is built to work on the H1 timeframe, with the EURUSD and GBPUSD pairs. The strategy is trend following, with basic risk management for a consistent approach that includes trailing stop loss.

EA Popcorn

This robot costs $200 per license as well. The system utilizes the moving average, as well as other indicators to identify strength of the currency and find potential trade opportunities. The system opens trades based on reversal / trend following and uses a Max drawdown setting to keep losses from getting too large. The system works on the H1 timeframe, for the EURUSD, GBPUSD, AUDUSD and USDJPY pairs.

EA Cloud

The EA Cloud is the most expensive of the available Stunning EA creations, at $500 per license. Built for GBPUSD exclusively, this H1 based robot relies on correlation and high impact news as the foundations of the trading strategy.

EA Dragon-X

Another $200 per license robot, the EA Dragon-X software is another scalper. This one has no explanation at all.

EA Empire

Lastly, the EA Empire robot is a hedge/grid approach that uses customer indicators to limit risk. This is likely very risky strategy, but like the others it is barely explained at all.

Robot Analysis

  • Type: 5 Forex Robots
  • Price: $200-$500 per license
  • Strategy: Varies
  • Timeframe: H1
  • Pairs: EURUSD, GBPUSD, USDJPY, AUDUSD

The presentation of the Stunning EA robots is quite disappointing. They provide very little information on any of them, and somehow still expect traders to drop between $200 and $500 per license. It doesn’t seem like a whole lot of thought or effort went into the production of this service.

Trading Results

There are no trading results available on the Stunning EA website, outside of a single backtest image for the EA Impact Scalp system. Our further research found a single demo account for 1 of the 5 systems, showing results via the MQL5 signal platform.

This account is running the EA Popcorn software, and is showing a 76% gain, with a 18% drawdown over the course of 13 weeks.

It really makes no sense why the vendor isn’t providing these results on the website, or why none of the other robots have results at all.

They need major help in order to compete with our recent reviews of AI Global Markets and Bitesize Forex.

Conclusion

It’s clear to our team, that the Stunning EA development team simply isn’t ready to be selling trading robots. The website is very poorly put together, and they just haven’t provided enough information about any of their services. If the vendor wants to charge upwards of $200 per license, they need to show us way more before we will consider this a viable opportunity. This comes across as a poorly run, one man show. Not something we would be willing to invest our funds in.
