Ninja Scalper EA (MT4 Bot)

Ninja Scalper EA is a new automated robot promising potential clients “20 years of consistent results.” This 5 minute timeframe trading system trades the EURUSD exclusively and bases their trade opportunities on 20 years of statistical analysis. Originally sold on the MQL5 marketplace, the vendor now has their own website, and has taken the software off of that market. This means that the only way to purchase the software, is now directly through the vendor. Today we will be providing a review, and letting you know if this is a viable trading solution for your trading accounts.

The creator of the robot is not introduced on the website, so it’s a shame that the MQL5 page isn’t available, as that always has author information. Instead of an author bio, the about us page just gives a handful of reason for traders as to why they should choose the Ninja Scalper EA. This goes into a bit more detail about the strategy, and their back-testing process. Generally, we want some information about the developer, like where they are from, what they do for a living, and what type of trading experience they have in the Forex markets. This is not provided in this case, which is disappointing, as we prefer more transparency.

The vendor does provide an address for the company, which is located at R4 Capital – CNPJ: 38.039.009/0001-89 – Rua D, 10A – Belo Horizonte MG, CEP 30622-230. This is a Brazilian based operation, which is incredibly rare, as it’s the first vendor we’ve come across from South America. This is not a region that trades Forex often, so it’s interesting to see.

Ninja Scalper EA Review

The developers of the Ninja Scalper EA believe that every expert advisor needs to be equipped with multiple tools and parameters in order to be successful. They have listed the nine most important parameters, and features of their service that they feel makes them a profitable operation. Here is that list:

  1. Traders can start with as little as $50
  2. The trading strategy can be customized based on risk profile and set to conservative, standard or aggressive.
  3. The robot considers both swap and commissions when setting trades to make sure a set amount of profit is achieved.
  4. Built-in money management allows traders to set a maximum allowed drawdown for every trade places.
  5. Traders can choose their own lot size or use automatic lot size calculation
  6. They offer a telegram group with more than 140 active members.
  7. They promise dedicated support via both email and whatsapp.
  8. The robot is in complicance with FIFO rules, and is used by many clients in the US.
  9. The EA will detect the currency the client is trading in, and adjust accordingly.

This is a great list of features, and what we expect from the best forex robots in this market.

Trading Strategy

While most vendors slack off in the trading strategy department, the Ninja Scalper EA team don’t. They have a specific page dedicated to the full description of their trade approach. It isn’t complicated by any means, but it does give us the necessary insight into what they are trying to accomplish.

The Ninja Scalper EA “uses an advanved trend identification technique,” that relies on the “MACD indicators in the 5-minute timeframe while evaluating the overall market trend in other timeframes, to determine the entry and exit points in the market.”

The robot will use the initial strategy, and if it fails it will use a grid trading approach as a backup. There are gifs on the website showing the examples of opening orders for both the main and secondary strategy. This is a great approach in showing how the software analyzes the market. Other robots would do very well in doing something similar, as systems like Odin Forex Robot and Forex Robotron lack in these areas.

Ninja Scalper EA Analysis

  • Type: Forex Robot
  • Price: $149
  • Strategy: Trend trading & Hedging
  • Timeframe: M5
  • Pairs: EURUSD

For traders interested in purchasing the Ninja Scalper EA for MT4, the robot goes for $149. For this price, traders get unlimited updates, unlimited support, maximum use on 10 simultaneous computers, telegram group access and license without expiration. They don’t get into accounts, but I assume that the software can be run on 10 accounts, as there is mention of 10 computers.

Traders can also rent the software at $30 for 30 days, $50 for 3 months or $100 for 6 months. Given the software costs $149, it’s really difficult to see the benefit of renting it at all.

Trading Results

The Ninja Scalper EA team provide a single demo account on Myfxbook with the Tickmill brokerage. The account is using a 1:400 leverage on the Metatrader 4 platform.

The account is showing a 29.91% gain, with a 50.41% drawdown since it started on March 10th, 2020. During this period the software placed 391 times, with an average trade length of 10 hours and 40 minutes. The risk reward ratio is a bit better than 1:1 with the average win coming in at 12.57 pips and the average loss at -10.85 pips. The profit factor is 1.68, and the win rate is 54.5%.

The main concern I have with the trading results is the slow gain, and the large drawdown. It appears that at the beginning of November the software struggled greatly with the US election volatility. During this time, the robot ran into a drawdown of half the account. This is a very large drawdown, and means that the Ninja Scalper EA has some very risky tendencies.

Conclusion

There’s a lot of positive to take from the Ninja Scalper EA, but some negative aspects as well. We appreciate how open they are about their trading methodology, but struggle with the trading results. It’s possible that the election volatility was just a blip, but it’s a significant concern. It would also be nice to see a live trading account to see how the software trades in real market conditions.
