Hi Keng Yang, I would just use the built in money management to set lot size for you. As for trailing stop, I’m not using it at the moment. I’m using default settings.

I would like to know the best broker for USA people which works with Steam EA.
I would strongly recommend one of the following: 1. An ECN MT4 Pro account with FX Choice. Margin up to 1:200, minimum deposit is $100 but to use this EA you should probably start with $300-$500. 2. An TALLINEX ECN-PRO acoount. The max leverage on this type of account is up to 1:400. Also, the required minimum to open this type of account at Tallinex is $2000. 3. A REALGOLD ECN account at Forex Broker Inc. Leverage is up to 1:500 and the minimum deposit amount is $100. In general, my opinion is when using EA’s you definitely want to open ECN Pro (fixed / tight spread) accounts instead of classic / variable spread accounts.

Hello, how many trades does Forex Steam do per day? And is there a difference in performance between light-version, version 8 and now V9?
Hi Mace, around 1 trade per day, sometimes more as you can see in my results. The best version is the light v9 which you get when you order and all subsequent updates for free.

I want to know if a risk of 15.0 is to large. On default it was 10.0. Should I have leave it to 10.0 or 15.0 is good?

Last week I bought Forex Steam Robot and installed in my account. My broker is Liteforex. The robot is active, but not catching any trade. My settings are EURUSD M5 and ecn ture. Pl clarify.
Hi, if you have a smaller account you may have to increase the risk setting in the EA. The software could be opening trades your broker deems are too small, easy fix.

I noticed your published test account started with $1000 and .33 lot size which I think equals a 6.6% risk.
Has that account been using that risk size throughout the entire list of published results — or did you ever lower it at some time to something generally considered more reasonable or less risky?
Yes, I move the risk up and down depending on how confident I am, less confident in the beginning.

Hi Ponnara, it is the best robot. I use the recommended broker they provide you with. Lowest deposit, $300. Has built in money management for lot size, just EURUSD is my favorite with this system.

Hi Ponnara, no it doesn’t affect money management. It would still calculate lot size based on a percentage. You can also just set your own lot size if your prefer.

Are you using the standard settings? This is my first fully automated robot and I have to say it makes me a little uncomfortable not knowing why the robot is taking a trade etc. Time will tell if I develop the trust to put on a live account.

Your trade result shows on 18th it took one trade but I have 3 trades. Any idea what could be the reason?
My broker is not FinFX. All three was profitable. so I don’t mind. Just want to check if I am doing anything wrong or broker could be the reason.

Why Forex Steam does not trade on friday? All days are set to “true” and nothing. I am asking cos it is 4th friday when it does not trade and lots does not change too.
PS: I am happy with results. 120% during 3 weeks (excluding fridays).

Steam has been very impressive and intelligent. My small standard account has been steadily growing each day. Has anyone tried a higher risk percent given how accurate it has been or increasing the number of allowed trades to 2 ?

Bought ForexSteam and am inpressed! Great wins with default settings. Took my demo up 11% in the last 3 days. I would like to test the trailing stop function, but I don’t know which settings I should use. Does anyone know how to use the trailing_stop_start and trailing_stop functions? How should I interpret these settings?

bought v8 on April 23, tried run on my VPS, 1 for Demo non ECN acct and another live ECN, I was register ID account both of them, tried to test on Demo first but acces denied, checck on forex steam site I can not find any make sure my ID registered, How check my ID really fully registred ? pls advice thx
PS: My VPS London network, I live in USA
No issues with their authentication. Try double checking the process. Make sure that once you get access denied you close the chart and reopen it as advised.

What broker are you using with your Live account?
Steam is very good lately, on a hot streak. I have 15 straight wins right now and the market is trending in the right direction. I can see Steam going on a run that lasts 2-3 months, I’m going to up my deposit to take advantage of this.
Does it work with other broker such as boss capital, redwood , and goption?
This is a Forex system, so it does not work with binary options brokers.
