Today I’m reviewing another Forex and CFD broker that claims to provide an intuitive platform built to help traders perfect their skills, Capital88. We’ve seen quite a few of the brokers pop up over the last few months, and most of them seem to be lacking in terms of platform stability. Hopefully, this broker does not follow that trend, and run into these same issues.
Owned and operated by BT Ventures Ltd, the brokerages located at Belite Brezi, Building 3, Sofia, Bulgaria. To get in touch with support, traders can either phone +44 203 807 5460, +54 11 5217 5846, or email support@capital88.com.

Capital88 Review
The Capital88 brokerage advertises themselves as “the most innovative way to trade and invest,” with more than 1000 world-class assets available to trade 24/5. The platform can be utilized on your desktop, mobile phone or tablet. Although, it does seem as though the entire platform is essentially web-based with no access to meta-trader 4. As much as I appreciate the convenience of a web-based platform, nothing beats trading in MT4. There isn’t a single web platform available, that is able to compete with the speed and reliability of MT4.
Brokers like these, that are advertising both CFD and Forex, seem like an offshoot of the binary options brokers. The platform is better than binary, but not as good as the platforms that of already been set out in the Forex market by established Forex brokers.
With all this being said, the broker does promise world leading support, cutting edge technology, and the top security standards in the market. This type of platform is more line with recent reviews that I’ve done like VideForex and KayaFX.
While it has trading capabilities, I don’t believe that it’s our best option.
Breakdown
- Type: Forex Broker
- Founded: 2017
- Location: Bulgaria
- Minimum Deposit: $250
- Applications: Android & Apple
Opening its doors in April 2017, it’s clear that the Capital88 broker is still very new to the market. Generally, I prefer trading with brokers that have a long-standing reputation, so I know exactly what I’m getting into. When trading with brokers with little experience, there is always a little voice in the back of my head telling me that they could potentially run away with my money. That is especially possible in cases like these, where the broker is not regulated by a governing body.
Client Feedback
In scouring the Internet, I have found very little in terms of client reviews. This really speaks to what I was just discussing in the last segment, about the real lack of experience and client base. In going to the Google Play store, and viewing the Capital88 application page, I can see that they have only received 3 reviews and between 500 to 1000 installs. Every single one of these reviews has been a 5 star review, but this sample size is extremely small.
In looking at other reviews of this service, I found that there are no comments made by any real clients. Thus, there is really no real client feedback about this service at this point in time.
We are really going to have to wait and see if this is a good broker or not, because I believe if we were to sign up now, we would be taking a risk at being a guinea pig.
Conclusion
I don’t see anything necessarily distinctively bad about the Capital88 broker, but there is nothing driving me to sign up. When choosing a broker, I always side with brokers who have long-standing reputations, and utilize more stable platforms like meta-trader 4. Hopefully, in the next few months we start receiving comments and reviews here at Forex Robot Nation, and then we can come to a better determination. As of right now, I don’t see myself registering.
